The Adventure of a Blank Page

IMG_20180502_164515_964There is something relaxing about watercolors. They are not heavy or over-bearing. Sometimes artists can be so afraid of the blank page or canvas that it paralyzes their creativity.

A change in perspective is helpful. Think of it as an adventure, and you are not sure what will form on that page and just start painting! It is fun to see what appears. There are times I paint with an agenda, but this method is a little more freeing. You don’t judge yourself as harshly because you don’t have anything to compare it to.

Try it! Grab your paints and see what comes of it.
