Colored pencils were my first art love. They really are amazing and versatile little sticks of color! I favor Prismacolor, but use what you have and just start drawing. Let the color and texture inspire you! I created a surface pattern design from this darling ladybug. 🐞 It’s available HERE at Spoonflower in fabric and wallpaper. It would be the perfect pattern for a nursery, but imagine a silk blouse of ladybugs! How cheerful that would be to wear. ☺️
The blush pink and cream checkerboard background is faint, but just enough whimsy to set off the vibrant ladybugs!
