This rooster is after our first rooster named Sherlock. He was very big and ran rather awkwardly, but he was beautiful! I painted him with Arrtx acrylic markers. I love their opacity! It’s similar to using gouache, only in a stick form (at least that is how I think of it). I used Bristol paper, as I wanted to potentially use this as a card front. I created a surface pattern design below!
