Caran D’ache Neocolor II water soluble sticks are wonderful to add to your mixed media art projects! You can use them dry, or activate with water for creamy goodness. I have the set of 30, but there are larger sets. It really depends on how much you want to invest. I recommend getting a smaller set to see if they work for you. They are comparable to Lyra Aquacolor, but are thinner. This may make them easier to use if you do more detailed work.
