Since I was a little girl, I have always loved drawing houses. Architecture is such a great art that combines both sides of the brain. Oil Pastel Bird Painting on Vintage Paper
This paper, which has a vintage coloring and textured surface, is very interesting to use for painting. It is great for oil pastels, gouache, acrylic paint, colored pencils, and minimal watercolor. Watercolors soak in pretty quickly, so I would only use them minimally and in conjunction with other media. I love painting birds! This little cutie is mostly colored pencil and oil pastels. Arteza Gouache & A Crazy Lady
Okay, this painting went a little bonkers! :) I have had the Arteza gouache for quite a time now, so I wanted to do a swatch to remind myself of the colors. They are fairly vibrant when not diluted with too much water. I would say they are fine for digital work, art journals, cards, and coloring.
