I'm not great at flower names, sadly, but these remind me of a mix between what I think may be bluebells and snowdrops. I started with a watercolor painting and ink sketch. Perfume Bottle ~ Mini Mixed Media

Watercolor Radish
Painting smaller things everyday really helps to keep the creative juices flowing, as well as developing technique. Mixed Media Alternate Alice
This was a quick, fun mixed media exercise! (YOUTUBE SHORT) I started by dabbing watercolors onto watercolor paper, then sealed that with some clear gesso. That way, I knew the foundational color wouldn't move as I layered on top of it. Next, I used a Posca paint pen to draw the lady. Then, it was just a matter of layering other color paint pens. Spring Chicks & New Book
I pulled out my Jane Davenport Ink Pens for a quick painting exercise and made these funny little baby chicks. This one turned out to be a Sumo Chick. :) This was closer to what I wanted. Either way, just make blobs of color, let it dry, then go in with details. Fun and quick!
