Colored Pencils: Amazing Travel Art Supply!

Colored pencils are amazing art supplies! They travel well, you can buy replacements open stock, they work well with other media, and have textural goodness. 🙂 I brought my Prismacolor pencils on a vacation to Florida, and they were perfect for drawing in my art journal on the airplane. No spillage! I brought just the pencils, a blender pencil, and a sharpener. That’s it! And the art journal, of course.

I sketched out the floral design on my favorite toned paper. Once sketched, it was just a matter of coloring, as if it were a coloring book! There is a short video below!
