This Dylusions journal from Ranger features high quality black paper that can hold mixed media fun! The underpainting was done with acrylic and gouache, then topped with oil pastels. Bold, opaque colors are perfect for this paper. I like the square shape and sturdy cover that can also be painted. If you use oil pastels, I recommend inserting some parchment or tracing paper over the painting when closed. That way, the colors won’t transfer or smudge.
