Freshly Milled Crackers

Because of the need to follow an anti-inflammatory diet in our household, I have had to switch to exclusively freshly milled bread products, including breads, crackers, pastas, and muffins. Of course, this is healthy to do in any case, but I have been replacing things over the last few months. I have found Michal Grappe’s website extremely helpful among others, and this cracker recipe was easy and delicious!

The recipe uses coconut sugar and soft white wheat for a tender crumb. You could make these savory by reducing the sugar and adding herbs. Pop these in lunches for nutrition on the go! I make extra and vacuum seal them in glass jars with this handy device! I love getting my wheat berries from Azure Standard!

I stamped mine out like a dork, but you get the picture. 🙂 They took mere minutes to make and roll out. It saves money and keeps out the boxed junk.
