Painting

Inktense White & Purple Flowers

Do you find it hard to paint white flowers? I do! With the exception of painting on my favorite toned tan paper, white flowers can be hard to get right. I thought I would use my Derwent Inktense pencils, since they are easy to control and even lines can be vibrant when activated with water.

To be fair, these flowers aren’t completely white. I was trying to get a mostly white, light, airy look. I need more practice, but I like how it looks.
