Kuretake has come out with a second set of granulating watercolors. The first set (find here) was so stunning that I was excited when I heard that they finally released a second set. 🙂 I made a video painting with the first set. The have luscious, moody hues. The new set is fairly different, in that there is more of a color spectrum. The picture below shows the difference between the colors in the two sets.
I am working in a watercolor (100% cotton) paper art journal that comes in a set of three. It has a nice tooth and is a great size for on-the-go art!

The colors are beautiful! I just painted a very quick (and not great) flower. 🙂 These jewel tones are a fun addition if you are collecting the Kuretake paints.
