This painting was a bit out of the norm for me, but I wanted to try the Sennelier silver oil pastel with fish scales, which led to a mermaid’s tail. 🙂 I used Canson Graduate mixed media toned paper that I taped with washi for clean edges at the finish. This paper works wonderfully with oil pastels! I also used my Prismacolor colored pencils for some detail work. The VIDEO is at the bottom of the post!
