This was a quick, fun mixed media exercise! (YOUTUBE SHORT) I started by dabbing watercolors onto watercolor paper, then sealed that with some clear gesso. That way, I knew the foundational color wouldn’t move as I layered on top of it.
Next, I used a Posca paint pen to draw the lady. Then, it was just a matter of layering other color paint pens. Fun!
