Limes, anyone? I had to try this fun palette to paint this barn landscape! 🙂 Red barns are out, guys! I used Canson Graduate mixed media toned paper, which works beautifully with oil pastels. These colors are modern with a very traditional subject, so it’s a great way to not venture too far out in left field if you are nervous about trying new palettes. I have pics below of a heaping pile of colors. There is also a video at the bottom of the post.


Any of these sets of oil pastels would be a great addition to your arsenal! I used Artecho, Paul Rubens, and Mungyo Gallery.
