I really enjoyed painting this farm landscape in oil pastels. I love the calm colors and texture that the oil pastels bring. I like to make my backgrounds creamy to offset the more textural parts. It is a simple color palette for a simple scene. I wish society would slow down and appreciate people and skills over pleasure. A girl can dream. 🙂
