This may be another “Is this a butterfly or a moth?” moment. 🙂 We will just go with butterfly today! I have used mostly Paul Rubens oil pastels in this painting on Strathmore toned paper. I have a video down below, so please check that out! I stock up on my toned papers, because I’m afraid the zombie apocalypse will start and I will run out without the means to get more! 🙂 I added some gold touches with my Sennelier gold oil pastel. Dreamy!
There are many days where it is considered a great victory to get a just a humble butterfly painted. There is no shame in short, creative sessions. Just do what you can! It is healthy, peaceful, and always a good day to use your art supplies.
