I am not a city girl. I like green things and fresh air. 🙂 Painting this little country church in oil pastels brought me into an era of more stability and peace (though there is always trouble around the corner). I don’t like it when churches look like generic office buildings. I sketched with a charcoal pencil, then created the foundation with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
As to oil pastels, I used Artecho, Paul Rubens, and Mungyo Gallery. They all play well together! You can use good quality drawing paper. Oil pastels are so user-friendly!
