Here is the second “fairy door vase” painting (two of three) that features orange-like fruit. I love the teal green and coral color palette! I painted this on my Strathmore toned paper art journal with lovely shades from Artecho oil pastels. I taped the sides with washi, so I would get clean edges. 🙂 The YouTube video is below!
The smudgy, creamy texture of oil pastels is a lot of fun to create with, as it gives art a little dimension. I often use my Prismacolor colored pencils for detail work, and a charcoal pencil for sketching.
