Here is the third fairy vase painting with my oil pastels. This one has happy, yellow lemons in a mostly blue and white vase. A video is at the bottom of the post! Using colored pencils for detail work is a great way to use you art supplies to their best advantage. The play well together! 🙂 I used my Strathmore toned paper art journal. This paper is lovely and works well with many art supplies!
I taped off the sides with washi for a clean edge finish. The pink gradient backdrop is great for yellows and blues. Don’t be afraid to throw in some color.
