Paint your peace! I love the gentle colors and the simple, worn fence in this painting. I feel like I am peering over into the promised land! 🙂 Oil pastels are a great choice for creamy landscapes. Their ability to blend and soft lines make them a great choice for nature scenes. I have used a variety of oil pastels like Paul Rubens, Mungyo Gallery, and Artecho. Each brand bring a great palette and varying level of firmness.
I love using Strathmore toned papers, but oil pastels work well on several kinds of paper. I also love using Arteza drawing paper!
