There are days where simple is just better. I have learned that it is better to have ten minutes of basic creating, rather that go for long periods waiting for a larger time slot. I wish society would slow down. I don’t think it benefits us to be bopping around and there. I want to also wish everyone a happy and creative new year! Thank you for following along with my creative journey. Last year was one of the hardest years I’ve had in my life (and I could tell some painful stories), but I am looking forward to what the Lord will do in 2026! 🙂
I painted these flowers with oil pastels on Canson graduate mixed media cream paper. I taped the sides with washi for a clean edge finish. I love how peaceful it turned out. There is a video at the bottom of the post!
