I wanted to paint something fishy. 🙂 The colors and contrast of this fish with the water blues and greens is vivid. I mostly used Paul Rubens and Mungyo Gallery oil pastels, as well as my Sennelier gold for details and sparkly bits in the water.
Oil Pastels work really well on this Canson toned paper. I got a bunch at Blick for such a great deal! Don’t worry, I haven’t abandoned my Strathmore toned paper. Check out the VIDEO at the bottom of the post!
