I’m painting in my Strathmore toned tan paper again! This floral mantel clock was inspired by a picture in a vintage magazine. I love the palette of colors and the addition of metallic details using Sennelier oil pastels. 🙂 I used a charcoal pencil in addition to my colored pencils for some details. There is a video of the process at the bottom of the post.
I love old things. It seems like more care was put into manufacturing back in the day. I hope we return to that as a society! Oil Pastels work so well on this paper. I love the creamy, tactile feel.
