I love the idea of mosaics, but I haven’t had good enough health to take on another art form (sadly). I shall have to paint in a mosaic style instead. I love the cheerful colors of these flowers and the fun vase. I used mostly Artecho oil pastels, which have a lovely array of beautiful colors. The creamy factor of oil pastels really delivers bold color and texture. Oil pastels really are an underrated art supply. Of course, Strathmore toned paper is a great choice!
Colored pencils work wonderfully with oil pastels! Use them for underpaintings, detail work, and more!
