Rust is pretty. Is that weird to say? I love the color variance and gritty texture. This rusty jug has a history to tell. It has seen some things! 🙂 I painted this in my Strathmore toned paper journal in oil pastels. The creamy goodness of the pastels is great for creating vibrant, textural layers. I even got out my Pentels for this one. Their smaller diameter is great for getting in some details. They are cheap and cheerful. 🙂
