I have been on a green and light pink kick lately. 🙂 Those two colors are classic! I also added some wonderful Sennelier iridescent gold details, like you would see on fancy Chinaware. I was inspired by a picture in a magazine featuring tablescape design with velvet bows and fancy napkins.
I started by coloring with my Prismacolor colored pencils, then layered on the oil pastels. The photos below show a couple of the steps, and then there are photos of some seamless patterns I created from the plate painting.
