You may often hear me say that I love tiny things. Puppies, kittens, journals, houses. 🙂 Tiny everything is cute! Sometimes it can be a challenge to paint tiny things with oil pastels. I taped off a small square in my art journal and made myself a reference of a pink house in the woods. I thought it turned out to be quite cheerful. I used Strathmore toned paper and (mostly) Paul Rubens Haiya oil pastels for this one. Another trick is to used colored pencils for some of the little details. I tend to reach for my Prismacolor colored pencils. They seem to work really well with oil pastels.
