Some people travel by plane, others by train, and I travel by art! 🙂 This is the fourth little painting on this art journal layout. I have featured the others in blog posts and in videos on my YouTube channel. I taped off a section with washi tape and used oil pastels for a creamy, textural landscape. I have a video at the bottom of this post.
I have used Artecho and Mungyo Gallery oil pastels. Using oil pastels on Strathmore’s toned tan paper works wonderfully! If needed, you can use colored pencils for details. Try taping off several sections on one piece of paper and see what happens!
