I still love all things dressmaking. Back in the day, I was putting out lots of clothes for me and other people. I had always wanted to be a fashion designer, since I was about ten years old. Ever the artist! 🙂 I was inspired by a picture of a vintage dress form with some lace and jewelry in wonderful tans, creams, and tea-stained goodness. I used colored pencils and oil pastels on black drawing paper. I love adding Sennelier gold accents! There is a video at the bottom of the post.


This particular dress form has the pole sawed off at the bottom so that it can sit on a wooden table for decorative purposes. Here is the palette! I love the metallics, blush, and neutrals for a timeless look. VIDEO BELOW!
