I have long been a fan of Jane Davenport products. I love her face to face stencils set that provides a great starting point for drawing. You can go a million directions with each face, so it is the perfect way to have fun in your sketchbook and maintain variety with limited supplies. I also love her book on faces! It is inspirational with great instructions. Her whimsical approach is inspiring. 🙂 I have a video of my painting at the bottom of the post!
For this painting, I used oil pastels and colored pencils on Canson paper. I love adding Sennelier gold details at the end. It is fun to draw whimsical people. I hope you grab your art supplies and dive in this year!
