Are They Bluebells?
I'm not great at flower names, sadly, but these remind me of a mix between what I think may be bluebells and snowdrops. I started with a watercolor painting and ink sketch. Watercolor Radish
Painting smaller things everyday really helps to keep the creative juices flowing, as well as developing technique. DIY Sprouts & Video
Growing these sprouts is so fast and easy, even I can do it. I have to say I have been guilty of planticide before, so I mean it when I say anyone can do it! They are healthy and cheap, which is always a win! The supplies are simple: a quart mason jar, sprout seeds, and the sieve lids that fit on a wide-mouth mason jar. Mixed Media Alternate Alice
This was a quick, fun mixed media exercise! (YOUTUBE SHORT) I started by dabbing watercolors onto watercolor paper, then sealed that with some clear gesso. That way, I knew the foundational color wouldn't move as I layered on top of it. Next, I used a Posca paint pen to draw the lady. Then, it was just a matter of layering other color paint pens.
