With postage constantly going up, postcards may be the best way to send a card and note! Of course, you can cut down watercolor paper to a 6 x 4 inch size, but these Strathmore postcards are great too! The lines for the address and stamp are already on the back. I’ve used Koi watercolor in the tubes with HIMI gouache for this postcard.
I would suggest using media that will travel well in the elements. You could also seal it with clear gesso or a fixative spray.
