There is something magical about just letting watercolor and gold do its thing! I taped off a page in my watercolor art journal and let the creating begin. I love how watercolor runs into itself, creating edges and feathering. I dropped in some Winsor and Newton gold. So shimmery! Check out the step-by-step photos below. š
Once the watercolor is dry, doodle away, following the edges where the watercolor dried. Don’t think too hard about it, it’s abstract art after all! š It is a great way to creatively exercise the “little gray cells”.
