Spring Chicks & New Book
I pulled out my Jane Davenport Ink Pens for a quick painting exercise and made these funny little baby chicks. This one turned out to be a Sumo Chick. :) This was closer to what I wanted. Either way, just make blobs of color, let it dry, then go in with details. Fun and quick! Landscape in Soft Pastel
I started this painting with my Lyra watercolor crayons to block in color. This also saves on the pastels, making layering easier. Adding those details in the end really makes it pop. Soft pastels are a great medium. You can seal with a spray ot mount behind glass. ... View the Post
