Sometimes, zooming in and painting one small part of an object can be a great creative exercise! I love boats and the water, so I zoomed in on the front of this boat. I have a video at the bottom of the post if you would like to follow along. I used Mungyo oil pastels with my Paul Rubens. I love the creamy colors in the water as well!
It can be a nice change of pace working on black paper once and awhile. It really makes the colors pop!
