Okay, I gave this oil pastel pad by Soho another shot. It is kind of growing on me 🙂 I taped the sides of and choose a very earthy and calm palette. The flowers have outgrown their pot! I like to use my Prismacolor colored pencils for details. They work wonderfully with oil pastels.
I mostly used Artecho and Mungyo Gallery oil pastels. I wanted to try other brands besides Soho oil pastels on this paper. They work about the same across the brands. It is nice that the pages are perforated for easy removal and framing. I also love the protective sheets in between each page.
I love the colors in this palette. I am a forever autumn girl! They are calming colors, and this reminds me of a table that would be in an old-fashioned, historical home. Sadly, I didn’t turn the camera on for this one.
