Painting

Oil Pastel Pink Flowers: Two Versions

I was in the mood for a limited color palette. The gentle pink and white combination with green leaves was just the thing. I painted two versions that would coordinate with each other, if I ever get around to framing my art and hanging it on the wall.

I used mostly Artecho for the pinks and Mungyo Gallery for the greens. I also used my Prismacolor colored pencils for the “twiggy” vertical branches. Sometimes, I feel like I throw every possible color on a painting. It is nice to be challenged by a limited color palette. I don’t have a video for this one, but I have TONS of others on my YouTube channel! 🙂
