I love painting floral arrangements, and this painting turned out to be in bright colors with a calming purple backdrop. Sometimes, I use floral arrangement designs to inspire the painting process. Since I have brown thumbs, I have to paint my flowers. 🙂 I use a combination of oil pastels (Paul Rubens, Mungyo Gallery, and Artecho). Each set has unique colors that I love!
The Strathmore art journal sketchbook has toned paper, which can help with the white blank paper problem that every creative person faces at some point. There is a video at the bottom of post for those who want to see the painting process!
