I was on a bit of a “lily kick” a few months ago. 🙂 Here are two different oil pastel paintings, one of which is a video at the bottom of the post. These were fun to paint, and as you can see from the different color palettes, very versatile. Try these out in your sketchbook!
I love painting on toned paper, as it sets of the opaque oil pastels beautifully! Using colored pencils is a great choice for finer details
Taping off the edges with washi gives a nice, clean finish. I hope you watch the video and try these out!
