Sometimes, I like to do little painting exercises from things that I see in my favorite Somerset Studio magazine. The amazing photos are so inspiring! I saw a junk journal with a seam binding bow, and I had to try painting it. I grabbed my Canson Graduate toned gray paper and my Paul Rubens oil pastels. It did not turn out quite as “3D” as I would have hoped, but I had a lot of fun painting it.
I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to scratch in some writing. Fun! 🙂
