Caran D'ache Neocolor II water soluble sticks are wonderful to add to your mixed media art projects! You can use them dry, or activate with water for creamy goodness. I have the set of 30, but there are larger sets. It really depends on how much you want to invest. I recommend getting a smaller set to see if they work for you. Peaches: Inktense Pencils Vs. Stabilo-All
I love to paint fruit! I painted the peach on the left with Derwent Inktense pencils, then I decided to pick up my Stabilo All pencil in black to paint the one on the right. I tried to make them as similar as possible. Both pencils are applied dry, then are activated with water. It was an interesting observation to see the value differences. Drawing Little Things
I am often inspired by the quaint, old-fashioned things featured in Daphne's Diary. I love history and lovely things that made a home beautiful. I thought I would draw something other than people and flowers. :) I drew the dresser with a Micron pen, then added colored pencil and Derwent Inktense pencils, activated with water.
