Watercolor Christmas Pudding

This was a quick (as in very quick) Inktober drawing in my art journal. Though far from great, it was fun. Doing these quick sketches can prompt you to paint other things, so don't focus on the negatives! :) Did you grab your free paper from yesterday? Check out below! ... View the Post

Oil Pastel Poinsettia Wreath & Free Paper!

This winter poinsettia wreath was fun to paint using oil pastels. If you want instant texture and leasy layers, try your hand with them. My favorites are Mungyo Gallery and Paul Rubens. They really are a great way to create without pressure or for ... View the Post

Art Journals are great to satisfy that creative itch, or to just give your mind some release from the hectic world in which we live. I used bottled inks in bright colors for this one. I kept it loose and didn't worry about much detail. ... View the Post

Happy Thanksgiving!

I could spend a lifetime enumerating the things God has done for me, for which I am thankful. In a society that encourages entitlement and self-love, lets remember gratitude and humility instead. I'm thankful for all of you that stop by my part of the internet to share in cooking and creating! I hope you have a restful and happy day! And have some pie! :) ... View the Post
