Watercolor & Soft Pastel Bee with Video
This is a block of watercolor paper. Sometimes, it's nice to not have to tape down the edges to prevent warping. I started with a couple of colors in watercolor to give a vintage-like effect. Then, with a wet-on-wet technique, I dropped in the colors to create the basic bee and wings. (VIDEO BELOW!) For more boldness, I switched to soft pastels.
