I was flipping through a lovely magazine and saw a beautiful photo of a historical building built right at the edge of the sea. The colors were simple giving off terra cotta vibes, which looked lovely by the bright blue waters. The waves were creating that fun, foamy white hitting the rocks that were scattered by the shore. This is my simple oil pastel version. I also used my Prismacolor colored pencils for some of the details.
I love using Strathmore toned tan paper with my colored pencils and oil pastels. The paper holds color in an amazing way, the pages are perforated, and the tan color is just right to show off a wide variety of palettes. 🙂
