Mixed Media Whimsical Girl

I love an 8 x 8 inch square painting. It's doesn't feel overwhelming! This is a mixed media piece that started with acrylic paint, some stenciling, and oil pastels. I also used my trusty Posca pens for drawing and the details. SHORT VIDEO HERE I was on a colorful streak. It's fun to expore color combinations with whimsical art! ... View the Post

The other day, I decided to pick it up and use my oil pastels on it. I love how it turned out! The acrylic paint was the perfect colorful underpainting, so I didn't have to cover the whole canvas with my oil pastels. They worked very well together. Give it a try! SHORT VIDEO ... View the Post

Watercolor Bookmark & Short Video

Bookmarks are great gifts, while also making fun little paintings. You can laminate them for extra durability, or simply varnish to prevent re-activating the watercolor. Simply punch a hole at the top and tie some ribbon or jute twine. SHORT VIDEO HERE I have pictures below, as I layered and layered. I added Liquitex gold acrylic ink for a little extra something! ...
