I pulled out my old friend, the Jane Davenport watercolor palette. I love the bold colors that inspire me to create. Dealing with (what is probably) Long Covid, sometimes the energy level is very near zero. Painting abstracts saves the day, as it allows me to still be creative and play with my supplies. Anyways, these backgrounds can always be continued later, or used as digital watercolor backgrounds. Doing creative things is always profitable, even if they are simple.
I’m using one of my watercolor art journals. These are lovely to paint on and have perforated pages if you need to remove a painting. Using the skinny washi tape let me get two abstracts on one page. š I have also included some pictures of recent abstracts, one of which has stenciling and mark-making. Fun!

I love it when the pigments slide into each other!
