Gentleman Otter Painting

Mixed Media Bridge Gazebo on a River
Art journals are a great place to practice without pressure. My proportions are a wee bit off, but this was a fun change from recent work that I have been doing. It's a gazebo-bridge combo was a quiet river flowing beneath. A peaceful swan floats delicately by. Delicate Flowers with Inktense Pencils
I am here again with one of my favorite art supplies! Inktense pencils are made by Derwent. They are an amazing, vibrant, ink-based colored pencil. You can use it dry or activate it with water. Watercolor Crab with Iridescent Medium
These crabs were fun to paint in watercolor. Each crab is just one color with varying degrees of intensity. I was a bit brave and didn't sketch them first. I just painted in an organic way, allowing the "blob" to take a crab shape. While they were still wet, I dropped in Winsor & Newton Iridescent medium. The sparkle is amazing.
